Which cast ? Which wind ?and Which Side fo the river?

You need at least four casts to fish both sides of the river:

 


(1) Left bank upriver wind

(2) Reft bank down-river wind
(3) Right bank upriver,

(4) Right bank down-river wind

For right-handers you can pick from a variety of casts including: these are right hand up casts

(1) Left bank upriver wind: single spey, snap-T
(2) left bank down-river wind: reverse snake, reverse double-spey
(3) Right bank upriver wind: reverse single spey, reverse snap-T
(4) right bank down-river wind: snake roll, double spey

For left-handers or ambidextrous the choices would include: these are left hand up casts

(1) Left Bank Upstream Wind : reverse left handed single, reverse left handed snap-t
(2) Left Bank Downstream Wind: left handed snake roll, left-handed double spey
(3) Right Bank Upstrean Wind: left hand single spey, left hand snap-t
(4) Right Bank Downstram Wind: reverse left hand snake, reverse left hand double spey

The Speycast like overhead casts are made for use on both sides of the River.
