Jottings from a Speybum Note Book |
||
I came across a simple way of rigging tube flies and Waddington shanks. It is very simple and consists of a nail knot made of shock gum, a bead and your fly. Simply tie a nail knot on your tippet, add the bead to stop the fly, and you are done. You may slide the nail knot up and down the tippet material to set the hook at the end of the tail to stop short strikes.
